The Oliver Curling Club exists and continues to operate because of its volunteers. On Friday April 17, the OCC was awarded the Spirit of Oliver - Community Builder Award. Spirit of Oliver awards are given out annually to celebrate the contributions of volunteers. The Community Builder award is given for volunteer activities that promote the growth and development of individuals and leave a legacy of community improvement and enhanced quality of life.
